Update--Kurdistan Under Pressure

I should start coming back to my blog more often. I will have more regular updates on the situation in Kurdistan and Iraq.
As long as the situation here can get worse, it might as well be made better. In that direction, I am now working with Research Triangle Institute's local governance program. It is an opportunity to translate my training in good governannce in the US into practical reforms at home.

All Things Considered, April 8, 2007 ยท Fulbright scholar Bilal Wahab recently left Washington, D.C., to return home to Erbil, in the Kurdish region of Northern Iraq. Wahab says waves of people seeking the relative safety of the north put economic and social pressure on Kurdistan.
