All Things Considered, December 11, 2005 ยท Iraqis head to the polls Thursday to elect a new full-term parliament. Four Iraqis who will be casting absentee ballots from Washington, D.C talk about how -- and if -- their ethnic and sectarian backgrounds will affect their vote.
The four participants in the roundtable are Bilal Wahab, a Fulbright scholar at American University; Babylonia Marcus, an international development worker; Yasir Shallal, an engineer; and Ali al-Attar, a physician.
